SUMMER YOGA PRACTICE
Between you and me, I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with summer. I love.. well, everything there is to love about summer (in particular laying like a lizard in the sun and mojitos🙊), but for me, summer brings with it a whole host of irritating inflammatory symptoms such as prickly heat, rashes and hayfever.. ☹️

WHAT ELSE HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
For those of you that know me or have read my previous blogs, I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to skincare products and cosmetics.
Call me old fashioned, but I hate that feeling of suffocating under heavy makeup full of toxic ingredients and breathing in synthetic perfumes all day just gives me a headache.
BUT it's not always been that way. I have a very LARGE drawer full of half used designer makeup and perfumes which I accumulated over the years (during my care-free pre-kid days when I had a proper job!). Chanel lipsticks, ten different shades of Touche Eclat... you name it, whatever you can find on a HOF counter, I've probably got it.
So, not surprisingly, George finds it highly amusing to watch me concocting lip tints from beetroot powder and foundation from turmeric (?!) when I have a plentiful supply.
To be fair, my last batch of foundation resembled mortar rather than foundation. 😂 😂
MY LATEST experiment, however (a citrusy body mist) has turned out pretty well and is gorgeously light, cooling and perfect for summer.
It's quick and easy to make and well worth the effort. All you need is your store cupboard staple (vodka🙊) and a few essential oils.
