Every morning I practice yoga. Most of the time I only manage to fit in 20 minutes or so before the boys get up and the morning chaos starts, but no matter what, I find the time to do it as if I didn't start my morning off with yoga, I'd be grumpy 😤 all day.
If I have the time, I also do a couple of minutes of pranayama and always say a little prayer of gratitude afterward - which usually includes a thank you for my families health. After what we went through with my husband (George), it has made me appreciate our health more than ever. I end this prayer with a wish for world peace and a wish for all children to feel loved and safe. I don't really know why I do that (🤓), it just comes from my heart. 🙈
So to get to the point, I recently stumbled across Children Of Peace, a non-partisan charity which works with children in countries affected by war. Their aim is to build trust, friendship and reconciliation between Israeli and Palestinian children, aged 4 – 17 through arts, education, health and sports programmes so future generations might live and work peacefully side-by-side.
With it being International World Peace Day on 21st September, I thought it would be nice if we could make a donation to this charity. So if you are thinking about updating your yoga kit, please do it today as we will be donating 20% of any sales received during 21st September to Children Of Peace. 🙏🏼❤️
